Track & Field Details

Unfortunately we do not have a team this year. We did not have enough participation. We hope to have a team again in the Spring of 2019.

All information listed below is for informational purposes only.

Registration & payment MUST be received BEFORE you can PRACTICE! First practice is Tuesday, March 13th.

FEE if registered & paid by March 30, 2018 = $160 FEE if registered & paid after March 30, 2018 = $175

Registration and payment by credit card via the online Bonzi Registration system only.

Fees:

Roadrunners - $160
Cubs - $160
Cadets - $160

Late Fee: Additional $15 if registered after March 30, 2018.

SPECIFIC PRACTICE DATES:

March 13, 15, 20, 22, (27th TBD)

April 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26

May 1, 3, 8, 10, 15 & 17

SPECIAL NOTES:

  • Spring Break is March 26-March 30. NO practice March 29th (Holy Thursday). Coaches will inform the athletes if there will be practice or not the remainder of the break.
  • Practices will be held - RAIN or SHINE. Dress appropriately.

MEETS:

  • Saturday - April 14, 21, 28 locations to be determined
  • Saturday - May 5 location to be determined
  • Saturday - May 12, Roadrunner Championships (3-4th Grades) location to be determined
  • Saturday - May 19-20, Meet of Champions (5-8th Grades) Jesuit High School

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • Parents are responsible for arranging transportation for their child to get to and from practice and/or meets.
  • The Reynolds Middle School track team practices before us on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please do not access the track until 4:45.
  • Athletes MUST attend 50% of meets to participate at Championship Meet.
  • Coaches expect all athletes to participate at the Championship Meet. This is an individual and a TEAM Athletes will need to check in and out with a Coach at all practices and meets.
  • Athletes can compete in 3 events and 1 relay per meet; athletes are encouraged to participate in as many events as possible.
  • Team members MUST notify the Head Coach if they are not able to attend a meet by the Wednesday prior to the meet.

EQUIPMENT & UNIFORMS:

  • Athletes are expected to respect the equipment and the Facility they are using.
  • Team uniforms will be a track shirt (the shirt will be provided before the first meet). Athletes need to supply their own solid black shorts, leggings, etc.
  • Athletes will need running shoes. FYI - No spiked shoes are allowed for the Roadrunners age group (3-4th Grades).
  • Come prepared for any kind of weather, rain gear and/or warm coats and gloves.
  • Athletes MUST bring water to allpractices and their own snacks and drinks on meet days.

Before you begin, we'd like to ask a quick question to make sure we're pointing you in the right direction. If you answer yes to any of the following, you do NOT need to submit an Exception application:

  • Do you attend school at FMES or St. Therese?
  • Are you a registered, paying member of St. Therese Parish?

What is Needed to Proceed with Registration
  1. Health Insurance (required to participate) and doctor informaton
  2. Name of preferred hospital in medical emergency
  3. Visa/Mastercard Credit/Debit card.

As always, giving false information is grounds for removal from the CYO program.
